Welcome to Australasian Groundwater Conference

On behalf of the Organising Committee we invite you to become part of this years’ Australasian Groundwater Conference (AGC2022). Groundwater is increasingly recognised as a vital global resource, supporting healthy people, economies and environments. AGC2022 will be hosted by the International Association of Hydrogeologists at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 November 2022. The Conference promises to attract a large number of delegates and organisations representing industry, consulting, government and academia, making it the premier groundwater industry conference in the Australasian region. This years’ conference theme is Science, Resilience and Adaptation, topics that have been well and truly at the fore over the past 12 to 18 months. We look forward to meeting you at AGC2022!

Yours sincerely,
Sarah Bourke

Australasian Groundwater Conference (AGC) will move to 2022

Due to the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, the Organising Committee of the Australasian Groundwater Conference 2021 have made the difficult decision to postpone the Conference until 2022.

The new dates of the Conference will be 21–23 November 2022 and it will still be held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.

While we have a fantastic program planned, including incredible speakers, the COVID-19 situation across Australia remains a health risk for our members. We consulted with the hydrogeology community and the feedback was that, although a virtual or hybrid conferences is possible, IAH members strongly value the opportunity to meet and network face-to-face. Therefore, the conference will continue to be held as an in-person event.
